Svetlana Stanarevic

Svetlana Stanarević is a doctor of defense, security and protection sciences and an associate professor at the Faculty of Security, University of Belgrade. She was elected to the profession for the subject Basics of security in basic academic studies, but she is also engaged in courses in the Master's program of the Faculty of Security - Studies in Security Sciences, as well as in doctoral studies. In the period from 2013 to 2020, she was engaged as a guest lecturer on an elective course Safety culture at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad, and since 2016 she has been engaged in the Master's program of Studies at the University of Belgrade - Migration Studies, as an elective subject Migration and human security. Since 2021, she has been engaged in a short study program at the Faculty of Security called Training of managers for the protection of personal data i on the study program of specialist academic studies - Urban renewal of cities in the new millennium on the optional subject Urban security at the Faculty of Architecture UB. She participated in several international and domestic conferences, scientific gatherings and seminars, several scientific projects and programs (Erasmus, COST, Horizon 2020), and as a consultant and expert in international and national programs and on line courses with topics in the field of human security, radicalization and violent extremism. She attended several training programs in the domain of risk and crisis management, creation, analysis and evaluation of public policies and initiated the formation Informal network of evaluators of Serbia (www.evamreza.rs) and as a coordinator registered with the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). He is the author and co-author of more than 60 scientific and professional papers, monographs, textbooks in the field of security studies and co-editor of several collections of papers from international scientific conferences in the field of human security, as well as national conferences in the field of urban security and urban development.
