All this leads to the creation of a society that ignores the public good and the interests of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What should the public engagement of academic workers mean? Should experts wait to be consulted or must they actively fight to have their opinions heard? Do academic workers and experts have the right to defend the public good?
